Release notes

Exekra ships three products on independent cadences. All three share a calendar-based version scheme (year.month.patch). Each release entry below lists the components that changed and the user-visible behavior they affect. License keys are forward-compatible across all releases in a major line.

Current versions

26.5 (May 2026)

Initial general-availability release. Foundational platform: workflow designer, on-premise orchestration server, distributed Runner agents, license activation, role-based access control.

Exekra Hub 26.5.1

Windows service installer that bundles its required runtimes. Configuration files and secrets are encrypted at rest. The service runs under a dedicated low-privilege account with restricted file-system permissions. Customer-provided PostgreSQL. HTTPS with self-signed or customer-provided TLS certificate.

Exekra Studio 26.5.1

Visual workflow designer. Per-machine installer (defaults to C:\Program Files\Exekra). TLS trust prompt with a persistent per-origin trust store. Hub URL normalization to prevent malformed paths.

Exekra Runner 26.5.1

Desktop workflow executor. Browser extension integration for web automation. Machine fingerprint-based registration with the Hub.
